Terms of Service
Last Updated: May 2026
Welcome to Chuphin. By purchasing our credits or setting up an event page, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following Terms of Service.
1. Description of Service
Chuphin is a browser-based SaaS digital disposable camera for events. Hosts purchase scan credits to allow their guests to take and pool photos inside their mobile browser. Each credit equals 1 scan which provides the guest with exactly 5 photos.
2. Fees and Billing
All prices on Chuphin are charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable. Payment is collected at the time of package purchase. We offer non-subscription credit packs. Credits do not expire, so you may purchase them in advance of your event. Once used or generated, credits are non-refundable.
3. Photo Content and Moderation
As a host, you are solely responsible for all photos captured at your event. We do not preview, monitor, or verify images before they upload. Hosts have full moderation controls and must delete any photos containing illegal, obscene, or infringing content.
4. Photo Retention and Deletion
We store all uploaded event photos securely for exactly 90 days from the event's start date. After 90 days, the event data and all associated photos are permanently purged from our database systems. It is the host's responsibility to download their ZIP archive of high-res photos before this 90-day window closes.
5. Hardcover Printed Albums
Printed photo books can be ordered through the host dashboard within 90 days after your event date. All orders are processed in AUD and shipped worldwide. We stand behind our hardcover print quality (200gsm gloss paper). If your book arrives damaged due to transport, please contact support within 14 days of delivery.
6. Limitations of Liability
We strive to provide a reliable browser camera experience, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or compatibility with all combinations of mobile web browsers and hardware. Chuphin is not liable for data loss, server downtime, or photos not successfully saved due to guest device failures.
